I agree with Answer #1.
Just like the melanin in our eyes, we have melanin in our hair. This gives us our eye colour, and our hair colour. As we age, we lose melanin and our hair turns grey/white because it loses it's colour. Eyes do not always lose colour but alot of the times they turn grey as well.
Why does human hair turn grey?
