i don't actually know sallys prices, but 18in hair will usually run from $40-60
it depends on the brand, and color. price range from i think 30-85 dollars and if you have a license you get a discount.
You will find pretty good instructions, including pictures, here: http://www.virtue.to/articles/braiding.h... Don't worry about the fact that this article is mostly about the history of hair braiding, and has some old-fashioned drawings. The pictures are clear, and braiding hasn't changed much, so you can easily see how to do it. Good luck!!
separate it into three parts. take the left one and put it in the middle, and then do the same with the right. keep doing that and you've got a braid
Eeeww! Your cat is grooming you while you sleep.
You constantly lose hair and regrow it it ends up on the floor so when your cat licks itself on the floor it probably licks up some of the hairs or licks your hairbrush.
Your cat probably picks up stray hairs that have fallen out of your head or maybe from your hair brush. Unless the cat starts acting funny, I wouldn't be too worried about it.
lol this question is funny...... but serious
she might be growing human hair in her stomach
if there's human hair on the floor which isn't regularly swept up your cat could be accidentally ingesting this. Happens to my cat so I have to sweep house frequently because my girlfriend's hair is long and my cat has accidentally eaten some.
do they really sell human hair?
I got mine at Ace Beauty, they cost about $36 for 6 clip in extensions. I think it's probably cheaper to just buy the hair %26amp; then add the clips yourself,or put them in however you want(glue, braids etc.) I love mine, I use them as highlights, very pretty.
The good part about human hair extensions is that you can do anything with them, they can be chemically treated, heat styled, etc. Just try to take care of them so that they last longer.
If your from Northeast Wisconsin then they range from $8.99 for 'mid quality' 8 inches of yaky bulk to $52.00 for 24 inch 'Janet' brand tracks. Don't quote me on it but I don't know if Sally's sells human hair or not. I guess I should check that out sometime soon.
Like any were from $20 and up!
Hi i bought my hair extensions from sallys the other day and they cost 鎷?5.99 each i bought two sets but they last for ages the human hair is far better hope this helps. Ps clips already sewn on and attached x
in ireland there 20 euro a strip and you need 3 to 5 strips
Sally's near me (East London) sell them for far more than the local shops that specialise in hair extensions (in the main Afro hair and beauty shops). Sally's only is an option if you have a Sally card - which you can get if you are a qualified beautician of any description (hairdresser, nail technician etc). Without the card, you pay retail price plus VAT which cn bump up the costs you see on the shelves quite a lot.
Ebay have some great online shops that sell extensions and they are very resonably priced too.
Good luck with your hair hunting.

When I was looking for pictures of what I wanted my sew-in to look like my stylist told me that to get that look all I need was straight hair and she would cut it and style it just like the picture. She also told me that if I got the wavy hair it might not turn out like it looked in the pic. My best advice for you is to get 14 inch hair(remy if you can afford it/ or milky way which is a great brand of hair with a great price) and take it and your picture to your stylist and let her do her magic. Also ask how can you maintain the look as well...I have had my for two months and it still looks great!!!! Hope I helped!!!! Be Blessed
What do you mean? as in hers is weave? LOL, I don't know, but I like the hair style and Megan Goode is really pretty...
u kno in hollywood ders dis sexy gorgeous actress bipasha basu..n she doned d same look in some of her magnum opus types films..she was damnly appreciated 4 dem....
coz they were her real hairs..n this look suits ur face a lot gal!

im pretty sure that there is human hair already curled like that but you should check into the yaky or synthetic hair
It depends what type of hair you have.. if it is human hair then yes you should be able to curl it ,straighten it, die it etc.. but if it is synthetic hair it will singe and burn.
you can cut them
but i don't know about colouring and straightening sorry
xxx
yea you can do anything with human hair
if you dont know how dont answer
Click the link below to "see how to add braid extensions". The demo is using synthetic hair, but the same technique can be used when braiding with bulk human hair. There are also tips on how to care for the braids and after the braids are removed.
Brand name is renaissance style is contest one
why dont you simply look some art history books. It can really inpire you, I think
and maybe the Queen Margo film...it has some great hair styles, very realistic ones too.
bed head "shine junkie" is awesome, and it smells soooo good!
oil sheen works great
it depends on what type of hair you have. I use isoplus hair sheen
depends on the type of hair. an oil sheen should work great.
I'm talking about temporary extensions like Hairdo by Ken Paves. Which ones should I get?
GO for human extensions for sure. Synthetic hair looks fake. Have you seen those girls walking around with the fake clip on ponytails? They look like jacka**es! With real hair you can color, cut and style however you want. If you want something less permanent, Jessica SImpson has a line of clip- ins that are awesome. All the pics of her with long hair- she has them in!!
Definitely human! Synthetic can cause breakouts. Take it from someone who knows.
it depends on if you want to style it- you cant use heat on the synthetic ones like you can with real hair. another thing to consider is the price it is about 100 for the synthetic and 500 for real so its up to you on if you will use them a lot and if you want to restyle or not. but they both will look good and natural. i really like them
Human for sure! Once they're on, you can't tell them from your regular hair. You can wash it and style it just like it's your real hair. I did it and I loved it. If you get them fused onto your hair though, it will be difficult to sleep the first few nights as you will feel all of the different spots where the the extension is fused on. Once you get them, you will probably love them and want to keep them.
Human hair for sure, but those Ken Paves clipins are a waste of money. I've made 3 sets of clip in extensions for myself at like $30 a set.
do they eat it or use it for nesting materials?
Probably both. They chew away at anything even plastic cable covers.
You can buy hamster bedding into the pet shop. Its more expensive though. I used plain white cotton balls or newspaper black and white only or white paper towels. don't use things with bright colors the dyes can cause cancer.Don't use cloth the threads get caught on their feet.Good luck with mousie
just to let you know you shouldnt use cotton balls, they might eat it and it wraps around in the intestines and can kill them, they can also get their feet stuck x x x
The like to use soft materials to make nests, and not just for raising young. The make bedding areas out of whatever you give them that's soft, like tissue or cloth . . .
I would think they would use it for bedding
How much as in milimetres, litres...etc. Also would it be ill if it was just licking the shampoo that's on itself(dried shampoo).
i think u should prolly axe a doctor sweetie.
i doubt u'll get a legit answer
bahhahaaaaa Report It
No self-respecting kitty is going to lick more than one lick of shampoo. It tastes too bad. The kitty is fine unless you start to notice odd symptoms like seizure, foaming mouth, unsteady walking and refusal to feed or drink.
She'll be okay. Get your shampoo someplace where she can't reach it.

first off, dont let your kitty have dried human shampoo on itself...

Animals have fur and people have hair. Your eyebrows are considered fur and you can tell it's different from your hair. Fur is generally coarser and doesn't continue to grow like hair or your dog would need a haircut every 4 weeks. That's the best I can do!
The structure of animal hair is different. Place your question in Science and you're more likely to get a technical answer. Hairdressers are taught about human hair structure, but not animal hair. I learned just a little bit about animal hair in a science class, but not enough for a good answer.
hypoalergenic dogs have hair not fur....like poodles and bishon's
Hair is an outgrowth of protein, found only on mammals. It projects from the epidermis, though it grows from hair follicles deep in the dermis. Although many other organisms, especially insects, show filamentous outgrowths, these are not considered "hair". So-called "hairs" (trichomes) are also found on plants. The projections on arthropods, such as insects and spiders are actually insect bristles, composed of a polysaccharide called chitin. The hair of non-human mammal species is commonly referred to as fur. There are varieties of cats, dogs, and mice bred to have little or no visible fur. In some species, hair is absent at certain stages of life.
The primary component of hair fiber is keratin. Keratins are proteins: long chains (polymers) of amino acids.

Human Hair are slender, threadlike outgrowth of the epidermis. Each strand of hair is composed of a scleroprotein called keratin and lacks both blood vessels and nerves. Both the color and form of human hair and the shape of the hair follicle serve as reliable determinants of racial and ethnic heredity.

It is made from nothing its natural.
Hair, collective term for slender, threadlike outgrowths of the epidermis of mammals, forming a characteristic body covering. No animals other than mammals have true hair, and all mammals have hair. Even such apparently hairless mammals as the rhinoceros, elephant, and armadillo have hairs around the snout, at the tip of the tail, and behind each scale, respectively. (Whales and manatees have hair only in the embryonic state.) When the individual hairs are fine and closely spaced, the coat of hair is called fur; when soft, kinked, and matted together, the coat is called wool. Coarse, stiff hairs are called bristles. When bristles are also pointed, as in the hedgehog and porcupine, they are called spines or quills.
Individual hairs are composed chiefly of the horny scleroprotein known as keratin and contain neither blood vessels nor nerves. They usually contain pigment (except in the case of albinos), and sometimes they also contain interstitial air bubbles that give the hair a silvery color. The shaft of the hair consists of modified epithelial cells arranged in columns surrounding a central medulla (or core) and covered with thin, flat scales. The root of each hair is contained in a tubular pit of the epidermis called the hair follicle. The hair grows from the bottom of the follicle. It is nourished by the blood vessels in a papilla that extends into the follicle and, for a short distance, into the root of the hair. A minute muscle, the arrector pili, is attached to each hair follicle; under the control of the autonomic nervous system the muscle contracts to make the hair 閳ユ笩tand on end.閳?Most mammals possess tactile hairs, usually growing from the upper lip and eyebrows, with their roots set in erectile tissue richly supplied with sensory nerves.
In humans the development of the hair begins in the embryo, and by the sixth month the fetus is covered by a growth of fine hair, the lanugo. In the first few months of infancy the lanugo is shed and is replaced by hair, relatively coarse over the cranium and the eyebrows, but fine and downy over the rest of the body. At puberty coarse hair develops in the armpits and over the pubic region in both sexes; in males facial hair begins to grow coarse to form the beard. The rate of growth of the hair varies with the age of the person and with the length of the hair. When a hair is short, its rate of growth averages about 2 cm (about 鑱?in) per month; by the time the hair is a foot long, the rate of growth is reduced by one-half. The fastest growth is found in women from 16 to 24 years of age.
The form of the hair is one of the most important and reliable hereditary characteristics. The nearly black hair of the African, Papuan, and Melanesian grows from a curved follicle, which imparts a spiral twist, and is flat or tapelike in cross section. The hair of the Chinese, Japanese, and Native American is straight, coarse, and almost always black; it grows from a straight follicle, is round in cross section, and has an easily distinguished medulla. The hair of the European, Semite, and Ainu is wavy and intermediate between the straight and curly types; growing from a straight follicle, it nevertheless has a slight tendency to curl, is oval in cross section, and exhibits a range of color from light blond to black.
Disorders of the hair shaft or hair follicle cause abnormal growth or abnormal or premature falling of the hair. Certain abnormal conditions such as dull or dry hair are caused by physical or chemical agents. Too frequent use, for instance, of permanent-waving chemicals or of shampoos or lotions, especially those containing alcohol or free alkalies, often causes such conditions. The cause of excessive hairiness is obscure, but in several cases it has been traced to tumor of the adrenal cortex or to disorders of the pituitary gland, the thyroid gland, or the ovary. Premature graying of the hair is associated with anxiety, shock, deficiency diseases, and, in certain cases, hereditary elements.
Alopecia, or baldness, is also due principally to hereditary elements. Certain forms of baldness may, however, be due to other causes: alopecia prematura, in which the hair of a young person falls out without preliminary graying, may also be caused by seborrhea; while alopecia areata, in which the hair falls out in irregular patches, is believed by doctors to be caused by inflammation, nerve disorders, or local infections. Diffuse falling of the hair, ordinarily a normal phenomenon, may reach abnormal proportions after a fever higher than 39.4鎺?C (103鎺?F), during a debilitating disease, or as a result of invasive surgical procedures. No nonprescription hair 閳ユ笧estorers閳?actually prevent hair loss or grow hair. A drug called minoxidil, however, has shown some effectiveness in treating men and women with hereditary baldness.
Infections of the hair follicle also cause a variety of hair diseases. Tinea favosa, or favus, is caused by the fungus Achorion schoenleinii; it is characterized by the formation around the mouths of the follicles of small crusts, which frequently resemble a honeycomb. Tinea trichophytina, or ringworm, is caused by fungi of the genus Trichophyton. These diseases have been treated successfully by epilation (removal of the hair from the affected follicles), cleansing with soaps or oils to remove encrustation, and application of fungicides.
Hairy parts, particularly of the head and pubis, are subject to troublesome infestations by minute insects and mites, such as chiggers and lice.

Humans are hairy.
If you think that humans are pretty hairless creatures, you're wrong. All, we mean ALL, over your body, except for your lips, palms of your hands and soles of your feet are hairs, big and small. By the time you're an adult, you're likely to have about 5 million hairs growing out of your skin -- about the same number as a gorilla! The only difference is that most of a gorilla's hair is thick and long, and most of a human's is so thin and small it is extremely hard to see. You've got to look closely!
What is hair?
Hair is made of the same stuff that's found in horse hooves, bird feathers, antlers, horns, and your cat's or dog's claws and your fingernails! It's a body protein called keratin and it grows out of a minuscule opening of the skin called a follicle.
Why is some hair curly, some hair straight?
It all depends on the shape of the follicle out of which the hair is growing. Straight hair lies flat because it's round and grows out of round follicles. Curly hair bends because its cross-section is an oval. It comes out of oval follicles.
What makes some hair dark, some light, and some entirely white?
The same chemical pigment that determines skin color -- melanin. Not having melanin in your body gives you white hair; a little makes you strawberry blond; more makes you a red-head; even more brown-haired; and even more, hair that looks blue-black. Pretty remarkable, huh?
What do goosebumps have to do with hair?
Everything! When you are chilled, or startled, you sometimes develop goosebumps. What are they? Temporary bumps on your skin caused by muscles attached to hair follicles pulling those hairs upright! Goosebumps actually serve a purpose in animals. Fluffing up fur or feathers helps trap air and make them warmer or make them look bigger and scarier. What do goosebumps do for humans? You tell us.
What does puberty have to do with hair?
As you approach puberty, you are likely to discover that several things about your body -- including patterns of body and facial hair -- are going to change. You'll start developing hairy underarms, and pubic hair.... If you're a boy, you may find yourself wanting to shave the hair on your upper lip and on your chin; if you're a girl, you may have hairy legs for the first time in your life. Puberty makes life interesting, eh?

Just like the melanin in our eyes, we have melanin in our hair. This gives us our eye colour, and our hair colour. As we age, we lose melanin and our hair turns grey/white because it loses it's colour. Eyes do not always lose colour but alot of the times they turn grey as well.
hair loses melanin as we age..
I have seen dog's fur turn grey/white as they get up there in years
AND, CAN IT BE REVERSED?
it's the hair losing it's melanin, the color pigments that exist underneathe the cuticles. The gray or white appearance is the absence of color. It's caused by hormonal changes that can be brought on by age, illness, stress, or genes. It can't be reversed or stopped unless science has come up with something new. Also, sometimes with graying, the hairs' texture will change too. This can make it very difficult for some people to use dyes.
when people get old their hair turn gray/whte.....sometimes they turn grey because of stressing too much....so dont stress.....
it can't be reversed because the system weakens and there are not enough calcium or nutrients to give it pigment
It is the only thing you inherit from "your" children.
Older people tend to develop grey hair because the pigment in the hair is lost and the hair becomes colorless. Grey hair is considered to be a characteristic of normal aging. The age at which this occurs varies from person to person, but in general nearly everyone 75 years or older has grey hair, and in general men tend to become grey at younger ages than women.
nope, it cant be reversed... unless otherwise you will have to color your hair...
im gonna make u a list getting married, divorced, having kids, losing aloved one, working , out of work , did i mention kids? lol im playing i have no clue really
Actually the hair doesn't turn white/gray, that's just the color of unpigmented hair. As people age they lose the pigmentation that made their hair blonde, black, etc. Unfortunately it can't be reversed, but you can still dye hair that has lost it's pigmentation.
stress makes them turn white. use "just for men" if your manly enough
kids

The only things growing after you're dead are worms, bacteria, and flowers. What is happening, however, is that the skin around the hair and fingernails will desiccate (i.e., lose water) and thereby shrink. When the skin shrinks, it retracts, making hair and fingernails look longer, as if they'd grown.
The body is dead so nothing is going to grow....Is this a homework assignment?
No the human hair does not grow after they die, because in order for your hair to grow you need living cells in your body. Once a person is dead they don't have living cells in their body anymore. Therefore, it does not grow.
The growth of hair depends on the activity of the cells of hair follicles which provide necessary stuff for growth. All cell activities in the body, including those of hair follicles, stops after death. Therefore it is wrong to assume that there is any growth of hair after death. However, due to contraction of skin in a dead body, the inconspicuous small hairs become conspicuously visible giving the impression of hair growth.
Synthetic Hair extensions are basically plastic and will NEVER look like you grew it. Try the site below for information about hair extensions. Good luck!
I had some... they were fine. BRAID THEM BEFORE YOU GO TO BED!!! You'll regret it if you don't!!!
Synthetic hair is OK,but its not realistic looking as human hair.I have had synthetic hair and while you don't have to worry about split ends,it still gets frizzy but if that doesn't bother you then definitely go with synthetic!
synthetic is plastic dont get them you cant put a curling iron to them and if you do put heat or even with the hair dryer you can melt them and they will look like crap just get human they are better but worth it
I'm talking about temporary extensions like Hairdo by Ken Paves. Which ones should I get?

yes they can be should be able to find a hairdresser in your area to help
I have some kanelakon(sp) synthetic hair already but I don't know if I should use it for microbraids, and what is a good brand to use that's affordable?
Use human hair, not synthetic for microbraids. You can go to a hair supply store and ask the staff. Usually they are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. Or if you're going to a salon to have it done. They should have hair that you can buy or turn you in the right direction.
I think human hair may be slightly better...
def. human hair
Human hair is better and slightly more expensive. It's easier to maintain and doesn't tangle as easily as synthetic. It also looks better. The brand that you should get depends on what is available in your area. Just go to the beauty supply and ask them to see the human hair that they have available. Ask them to see two or three different brands. They should let you open the packages in the store (at the counter) so you can see the quality of hair that you are buying. Don't buy the cheapest, but don't buy the most expensie brand either.
Hope this helps.
I would love to make my hair that little bit longer at the back as I have never had long hair ever, I dont want to pay a packet for it salon's are sooo expensive can any one help? xx
i have just bought hair extentions from ebay! they are 100% human hair. They are really easy to put in and take out, i would definetly recommend them. They cost me 鎷?7.99 and then 鎷?.00 post and packing!
ebay.com
no
well it really depends on where u r located if in dallas email me i might can help u
Normal extension retailers should be able to advise you.
Afro-carribean hair salons could also be useful?
My personal opinion, grow it out. I don't want to sound like the crabby mother or anything, but getting real human hair extensions is stupid. Now, getting extensions out of synthetic, thats ok. It looks just as great, and you can go to greatlengths.com (I think thats right).
Think of it this way.. hair extensions made of synthetic hair can give you temporary long hair...hair extensions made of real human hair, can be used to make a wig for a child with lukeimia going through chemotherapy.
Stay with synthetic, leave the real hair for those who NEED it.
Try www.funkydo.com.
They sell really cheap extensions and are SUPER helpful. try their ebay shop for even cheaper ones.
ebay shop -funkydo extensions
and they do a colour matching service, email them for any help you need.
gd luck xx
If you want real hair it is going to cost.
i bought human hair extensions off ebay for 鎷?7 and they are beautiful. dont look fake atall and really really easy to apply.have a look on ebay.x

It's thicker and it doesn't break quite so easily. I know my hair is pretty strong. I can tie it in a knot... so I would have to say that human hair is stronger than the silk a spider spins.

Yeah, webs can't rip apart easily.
yes, but because there's more of it in one strand compared to a strand of spider web.
if they were the same mass, i think the spider web would be alot stronger.
No, spider thread can be known to stop a bullet
spiders web is stonger than hair in proportion
uh, yes...I think so...maybe...
I think it depends because I think that some spiders do make webs that are stronger so it might come out even
pubic is but my dads head hair isnt
No it's not. If human hair were as thin as a spider's web strand then it would break more easily.
Could you see spiderman swinging between the buildings using a strand of hair, I dont think so!
Yes, but not in relation to its weight.
In relation to it's weight a spiders thread is as strong as a steel cable, much stronger than human hair. But human hair is larger and heavier, so in reality yes.
Isn't a spiders web supposed to be stronger than steel?
If so, then no it's not.
Yes an interesting question, I once had a pet spider and gave it a lovely house made of human hair, every time he went to bed in it, it just fell apart.
It would take me hours every day to rebuild it.
Then one day he escaped and I found him asleep in a spiders web.
He was quite secure, so..er..yes..obviously spiders web is stronger than human hair for making spiders houses out of.
No, spider silk (from which a web is made) is a lot stonger than hair. The strength of spider silk lies not just in its shear strength but also in its elasticity.
Comparing the two hair is much more brittle.
Having said that human hair is actually very strong.
Incidentally, human hair strength varies between the races. Black hair is the weakest, asian hair the strongest, and caucasian hair the most elastic.
my hair are stronger than spider net. They are so thick like cupper rods in a current wire.
Maybe!! It depends of the hair and the spider's web!! :P
NO!!
If they were the same thickness - spider silk would be MUCH stronger than hair. It's stronger than steel for goodness sake!!
Wikipedia says that the tensile strength of spider web is 1.3Gpa..
while most steels are less than this.
the tensile strength of human hair varies depending on what radiation its been exposed to, the colour it is, whether its been dyed, how much it has been shampooed/conditioned. all these factors and more effects the tensile strength of hair.
so the question is does the strand of hair your refering to have a tensile strength of greater than 1.3Gpa?
but generally it would be safe to say that spider silk is stronger than hair at the same thickness.
AndyB has the exact correct answer so I'm not going to type it all over again!
yes
I dont think so. If spider webs were big enough to put across a runway they would be able to stop a jumbe jet.
We should get the Fly's opinion on this....
No! spider silk is stronger than steel, and thinner.
It is as strong as steel
I want them to look AWESOME. Spent a fair bit on them, so, i want them to be hella rad.
Something along the lines of Zui Suicide
Any ideas would be adored

Red and pink mixed
I think so, but I prefer human hair or Kenakalon fibers if I ever resort to a weave. Kenakalon is better than synthetic because you can use curling and flat irons on it.
yes people use horse hair for extentions all the time its a black thing ha ha lol :^)
i have never heard of it but its probuably.lol
no human hair comes from a human they do not use horses hair for anything if it is synthetic hair then it is made of plastic and for the record there is a such thing as a stupid question yours being one of them it is ignorant to
yes it can. They are called extensions. Extensions come in horse hair and human hair. your hair has to be about 2-3 inches long to have extensions put in. but be careful, you may be allergic to the hair (yes, some people are). If you notice a rash on yous skin or scalp, call your doctor immediately. Not trying to scare you. That doesn't usually happen, I just know of one severe case.
yes, it is the best
Yes it used fot many things
Science Fair help me
Yes it use to do, with those dyes having amino acids, but if u take good quality dyes whcih does not have acid based containts, it will harm less.
After all if u play with nature, u will get some adverse effect

I think Milky Way is excellent. It comes in all types of textures and looks real. It easy to work with and withholds heat real well.
redhead
Outre
Sensationnel
Remy Indian Hair
Bohyme or Goddess are both expensive but they don't tangle or shed much. If you want something that's cheaper that's still really good try Black Diamond. If you want your weave to last and look good you need to invest a little bit of money.
Yaki is good...
Would winter conditions effect how strands of hair react to humidifiers (for high humidity) and blowdriers (for low humidity), for example.
Hair typically gets a little drier, in the winter due to the lack of moisture in the air (humidity) this also increases the amount of static. Using a humidifier helps both hair and skin retain some of its moisture. Blow dryers used on high heat in any season will incur damage, and if your hair is already a little drier due to the dry air of the winter climate, then the problem simply compounds.
My cat loves to lay down, lick, play with my hair. Is there any particular reason for this behavior?
Your cat thinks you are a cat and loves you. Think of it like this...they lick each other and sleep with each other, so you are just another cat to him or her. Be happy your cat loves you so much!
Maybe he is grooming you, consider it love.
I had a cat that did that. Sometimes she got really aggressive. I realized it was a particular kind of hair spray I was using. When I didn't do it, she didn't pay attention. There must be something in sprays and hair mousse that turns them on. Well, I don't mean that exactly but something certainly affects them, maybe your shampoo.
May..your cat wants to introduce her fleas to your hair.
Cats pretty much just want something to play with. They set it in their mind that hair is a toy and they want to play with it. All cats do it.
I have a cat that loves my hair when I use Herbal Essences shampoo.
Its grooming. If you ever get he chance to see two cats together, they clean each others hair. Its also entertaing to them I think if you have long hair. Quite funny and tickly when they do it though.
He's just grooming you like he does himself. If it bothers you, gently pick him up and tell him no, or distract him with a toy, or just cuddle him on your lap. If it doesn't bother you, then let him since it makes him happy. I have a cat who sits on the back of the sofa and cleans my hair too, it's OK with me if I'm home for the night and don't need to look good any more. I think he likes my hair spray.
Assume that the hair is 3 inches long and has a diameter of .0025 inches.
Assume that stars are evenly distributed and include stars that cannot be seen with the naked eye.
I guess about 1E+16.
Why did you not allow for light diffraction around the hair? It actually doesn't block much of anything. Report It
You would need to make assumptions about the topology of space time to discuss this one fully. If far enough away, entire galaxies could be blocked by the hair. Ever heard of Olbers paradox? It relates to discussion of this question.
Countless trillions of stars would be blocked. You would be blocking out an entire region of the universe. It may be an insignificant part of the whole, but still an enormous expanse.
None. The hair would be out of focus, and it is narrower than the lense of your eye---much narrower compared to a telescope lens. To block a star, it would have to be wider than the lens.
What can I do keep my hair from tangling up?
I just recently got my hair did last Wednesday and I know my beautician a.k.a my Ma` would be dissappointed if I took them down this quick.
So my question to you is what can I do to keep my hair from tangling up, and I do braid it up at night.
Buy a brush with bristles that are widely spaced apart and run it through your hair occassionally throughout the day. I also found that keeping the loose ends off of my back and up, when styling, kept my micros in better shape for a longer time.
And tie your hair up at nite with a satin scarf, after pulling it into a neat, combed out (with the brush i first suggested) bun. I hope this helped. I used to get micros all the time and am currently natural.
Good luck!
hair spray lots of it
comb it out with your fingers if it looks frizzy get some kind of spray to manage the frizz
I'm assuming you have the ends out. You may just want to comb the tangles out with a close teeth comb, starting from ends and working your way up. Be patient. Hold hair in hand and comb so not to tug hair at the roots. Also at night you may want to detangle and make one big partially tight braid and tie or pin braid up and cover with scarf so that it will not loosen and become tangled again. also apply some sort of moisturizer to make it easier to comb. don't use anything too wet thought, try something creamy and use sparingly.
hope this helps.
thas tha problem with synthetic hair u really cant do n e thing from keeping it from tangling up...u can try to dip the braid in SCORCHING hot water to give it a little wave or curl....but 2 me synthetichair has a mind of its own...thats y i stick to human hair....wet and wavy
dont do what every u did lo and then just leave it natural and grow it out if u want long hair i h8 xtentions there so PLASTIC
I want to keep my hair from frizzing.
Yes, I don't see why not?
Other ppl have used with success: a spray made of 1 part white vinager %26amp; 1 part water.
%26amp; Others have simply wiped a bounce sheet over their head.
I don't have a weave but I do use static gaurd on my own head of hair so I imagine it would have the same out come.
It should work the same as on normal hair. Just trying it will give you your answer I guess.
They have a lot of anti frizzing products out there, I would not recommend anything that is not designed specifically for hair. I know a lot of professionals who use IC frizz buster by fantasia.
my hair is falling out bad
Hi there...if this were true, I'd be bald as a baby's behind since I train cats to learn new behaviours (also known as tricks).
What causes this? How can I make her stop? I'm afraid it will harm her stomach, because she throws up so often. We took her to the vet, and he said it was her dog food's fault??? So we changed her formula several times, but she still eats hair and throws up!
I've never actually heard of this happening. Where is she getting this hair from? Large amounts? I'm curious. Also, if the vet said it's the dog food, maybe you just havn't found the right one. I'm guessing this may be the lack of nutrients in her food. I would try a more expensive brand, like Innova. You can purchase it online, or check and see if it's in any of your local petstores. Also, wherever she'd getting the hair from, keep her away from that area. Possibly a bathroom?
Well, why don't you clean up the hair? Where is your dog getting it from?
Don't put so much of your hair on the ground and watch your Chihuahua very carefully.
Where in the world would a dog find a large quantity of human hair? Wherever it is, remove it from your dogs access.
well he should'nt be getting hair in the first place but
it has something to do w/ not getting enough nutrition.
ya, when my dog was a puppy he at rocks and then i took him to the vet and he said that he was not gettin' enough nutrition. the vet said to buy multi-vitamens at a store like walmart, so i did and i give him some every day and he's almost three and doen't eat rocks anymore.
i'd say you should keep her away from human hair.
wtf r u crazy lady y does your dog have access to enough hair to be vomiting on... i see my moms and sisters hair lying round sumtimes.. just a strand or 2 tho.. but not nuff for my dog to puke on..anyway clean dat up
Why would there be human hair where she can eat it?
Clean up the home and get her on a good quality dog food. You are asking for stomach problems leaving hair around for her to eat. It could end up with her needing a costly surgery if she gets a ball in her stomach she can;t throw up.
I have naturally curly hair, and I just spent $350 for hair extensions that my beautician stated was my only option; that being straight as a board, and that if I wanted to match the curl I already had I would have to curl them. Needless to say I'm not happy.
oh my god return them! i have human hair extensions in right now that match my curls perfectly you can either get human hair straight, wavy, and many types of curls like a spanish or italian wave, or spiral curls, or natural curls! look for an ethnic beauty supply store. or a ethnic salon. or go to any beauty supply store and ask where they sell human hair extensions. what a terrible person! they lied to you!
I don't think that's true. One of my friends had hair extensions and they are curly...
That is correct, but afterwards you can do anything you want with them (curl, color)
Someone told me its easy. You buy the hair packaged and the clips seperately. Then what?
You have to sew it together with a needle and thread.
If I am understanding this correctly, the clips you would buy would be small and the hair should be taken in small segments to be clipped on. If you are looking for length you would section a little more than top half of you hair out, and in your nape area clip the segments of hair to your hair closer to the base. spread them out evenly, then I guess thats it.
I have these extensions.
They are actually a lifesaver. My hair is thin and it helps.
You buy the hair to match your hair, and if you can't find it the right color, you can always color it w/a home coloring kit.
The hair comes in a big long strand connecting, so when you buy the hair, you have to cut it yourself. The clips comes seperately, I use about 5. You sow the top of the hair (Which is sowed together) into the clips, it is pretty simple. I usually double up the hair to make more of it in clips.
After sowing them in and everything, clip them where you would usually keep them and cut to your length if needed.
Hope this helps!
