AND, CAN IT BE REVERSED?
What makes human hair turn white/gray?
it's the hair losing it's melanin, the color pigments that exist underneathe the cuticles. The gray or white appearance is the absence of color. It's caused by hormonal changes that can be brought on by age, illness, stress, or genes. It can't be reversed or stopped unless science has come up with something new. Also, sometimes with graying, the hairs' texture will change too. This can make it very difficult for some people to use dyes.

It is the only thing you inherit from "your" children.
What makes human hair turn white/gray?
Older people tend to develop grey hair because the pigment in the hair is lost and the hair becomes colorless. Grey hair is considered to be a characteristic of normal aging. The age at which this occurs varies from person to person, but in general nearly everyone 75 years or older has grey hair, and in general men tend to become grey at younger ages than women.
nope, it cant be reversed... unless otherwise you will have to color your hair...

What makes human hair turn white/gray?
Actually the hair doesn't turn white/gray, that's just the color of unpigmented hair. As people age they lose the pigmentation that made their hair blonde, black, etc. Unfortunately it can't be reversed, but you can still dye hair that has lost it's pigmentation.
