I have 3 daughters with long hair and they all brush their hair and the hair comes out onto the floor, mainly onto mats %26amp; the carpets. I do vaccum it off but half the time I have to physically remove it. Such a fustrating job. No matter how many times I tell the girls not to drop it on the floor it still appears and is driving me crazy. Now I know why I keep my hair short. Also I find hair in the shower plughole and the basin the sink. They won't touch it at all and it is up to me to clean it up. Just such an annoying habit that it really gets up my goat. Other than giving them a number 1 haircut I can't see any other solution. As per usual it is left up to Mum to cleanup. (Interesting to see how they get on when they go flatting). Probably think the phantom cleaner will clean up after them.

this sounds quite familiar. I have long hair and it gets everywhere.. such a hassle. i think you should crack down on the "leaving it in the drain and sink" deal.. and as for the carpets.. if it's THEIR carpet in THEIR rooms, then have them deal with it.. eventually when they carpet turns a little extra fuzzy.. they'll clean it up. teach them a lesson! thats what my mom did! to keep it from going down the drain, i would put hair on the shower wall and it was pretty sick, i wont lie. so eventually i just started cleaning it up cuz it grossed me out. goodluck.

get a paint roller thing and wind sticky tape on it, but leave the sticky side facing outwards. then when you roll it on the carpet it'll pick up the hairs.
don't use a high tack tape or it'll pull your carpet up with it, masking tape ough to be okay

You could use tape to pick it up. Roll up a bunch of tape and the hair will stick to the tape.

Don't worry, try wide masking tape. Any hair will get stuck to the tape. Sounds like you'd need to get a couple of rolls.
I've even used this method to rip loose fur off of the cat. She gets somewhat annoyed but it works.

tell them to clean the drains or hair cuts.
Show them pictures of cute girls with short hair.
Let them have gum. when it gets in their hair it will have to be cut.

Get a pair of rubber gloves and a big hairbrush. Run the hairbursh across the mats and carpets, and put the rubber gloves on your hands to clean the brush.

Vaccuming should have done the trick. You may need to replace the rolling brush if the bristles are worn out.

Duct tape or lint roller.. Then maybe start leaving a lint roller near each girl and say as you brush you can clean it up .. lol.. Doubt that it will work but it's worth the try..lol
