While you might be tempted to change the color of your cat's fur, using human hair dye on your cat is dangerous.

If it got into the cats eyes, the cat could be blinded or suffer permanent eye damage.

There is also the issue of the chemical ingrediants in human hair dye that absorb through the skin.

On human beings, the levels are low enough to not be a problem, but on a cat, it could make it very sick.

Not to mention, it could cause a very serious skin irratation.

I would highly recommend, for the sake of your cat, that you just allow you cat to be the way it is.

I have known a black and white cat that would only lay on black and white blankets. It would have been very mean to dye her pink and make her not feel safe on her blankets. Please consider that before you dye his/her fur

Good chance that the chemicals will burn his skin. Cats are not humans and can't tolerate many chemicals that humans or even dogs can. Both aspirin and tea tree oil are toxic and can be fatal to cats.

Probably. Cat's skin is not like human skin, and there are already warnings on hair dye about allergic reactions. Besides how would you actually go about doing it?
