It depends. If you just got a really bad hair cut, then hair seems like it does not grow at all, while hair that you have to shave every day seems to grow like a weed!

No dog has human hair. It's not the hair that you are allergic to, but the dander.
I've heard that Poodles are a low allergy dog.

Poodles are probably the least shedding of dogs but they require grooming and brushing which can be expensive and time consuming.
Diet and bathing can help keep down the dander. I am extremely allergic to animals and I have 2 dogs and 3 cats. I bathe them weekly and each bathing consists of 3 latherings and Im not stingy with the soap. 3 latherings apparently is the magical number for myself and dander. Might work for you as well.
No breeds have human hair, but some breeds are non-shedding.
Poodles, Bichon Frise, Yorkie, and Maltese.
There are some others that have "hypo allergenic" fur, but these are the ones that I can remember right now.
Mixes of these breeds are OK, too. I'm sure that there are some in a shelter near you.

Although there is no true breed of dog that people aren't allergic to, there are breeds of dogs that have hair. You are actually allergic to the dander and not the fur, but dogs with hair are very low allergy.
I have a friend whose whole family is very allergic to dogs and they have several breeds of dogs that have hair and don't have a problem. Please keep in mind that there is a small chance you may be severely allergic to dogs' dander and no breed of dog will be okay with your allergies. Bathings the dog weekly will help your allergies a lot.

It's not the fur that's the problem.. It's the dander that's produced by the dog that is the problem.. You want to avoid breeds that produce alot of dander.. A good air filter, vacuuming daily, and keeping the dog brushed and clean goes along way in helping with allergies..

Anyone who tells you that there are hypo-allergenic dogs is either ignorent or a breeder trying to sell you a dog.

The ideal thing would be if you could volunteer at a shelter and stay around certain dogs for days to see which trigger your allergies and which do not.
I have a granddaughter with allergies, she is allergic to some of my dogs, but not others (I am active in rescue).
Make sure you are with a particular dog long enough to know for sure (rub your face in his fur, etc. - get close to the animal for quite a while) so that you do not end up with a dog you have to give up, that would be cruel for you and especially for the dog.

I have really bad allergies on cats and dogs, which sucks because I really want a dog. So I asked a question almost like this and some peoples said that there isn't a dog that is 100% "hypoallergenic" but there are dogs that dont shed as much as other dogs. So if you just search hypoallergenic dogs on google, there will be a list of dog breeds that dont shed to much. And i'm planning on getting a Coton De Tulear, because they have a double coat and need hand-stripping, so then the shedding is minimal.

You mean head lice? Yes, small black dots are very likely lice feces.

It really sounds like lice to me especially if it comes back. Use some Avon Skin so soft oil on his head. spray his bed the floor your furniture the car and pillow with Siphotrol Plus it takes care of fleas and lice.
Take your son to the doctor. They would be able to tell you whats going on. If you have fleas in your house then take your animals to the vet and get them treated bc if an animal eats a flea then they could end up with paracites. Also remember to shampoo the carpets under the furniture bc the flea eggs will live there long after you have treated your pets.
Fleas prefer NOT to live on people, they are more likely to live on pets, in carpet, or pretty much anywhere. They will bite humans as a food source, but the chances of them living on humans are very small. Unless you have animals in the house that are completely flea infested or your carpet is full of them I would say it's probably lice, especially if you haven't noticed any flea bites on your ankles or his.
Get the black do wet (on a white paper towel or piece of paper). If it turns red, it is flea poo.

Well the best thing to do is get real chinese remi it's kinda expensive it won't frizz and you need to put your hair in a braid when it's wet so it won't tangle or pull on your scalp. Make sure to wash it as soon as you get back from the bleach the water chlorine or salt will break up the glue or bonds.
DO NOT PUT HUMAN HAIR IN! If you do, your own hair will dreadlocks with the human hair after it gets wet and you don't want that! Speaking from experience. Get just your own hair braided. Or carry your pressing comb, flat iron etc with you and wake up early enough to do your hair. Don't forget a good baseball cap and you are good to go!

What I did when I had micro braids was, I would wash the bottom part of my hair and not get the top 3 or 4 inches wet. When I absolutely NEEDED to wash the top part of my hair I was very gentle and only washed the top part, so the bottom part wouldn't be weighted down causing the braids to slip out.. There are shampoo sprays you can use with out water that can help keep your scalp clean. Also It isn't recommended to wash them the first week or so.. Anyway I hoped this helped.

Good general nutrition will help hair growth and strength. Nothing will help with regrowth after baldness, if that is where you are headed. Eggs are predominantly proteins, with other nutrient trace elements, cholesterol, vitamins etc. As part of a balanced diet, they are useful. But it is the balanced diet which helps, not just the eggs.
To begin with, vitamin A (or any vitamin for that matter) is not a protein. I have heard of the belief that rubbing raw egg whites and yolks in hair and then showering will increase hair growth and health. I am not sure if this is what you mean in your question. as far as I have seen, this is just a belief and the people who have done this sort of thing seem to have no better hair than others.
As of 1/15 i have microes and da night before i got them i had gotten my hair cut even so now its probally longer now but it was a little before my neck!!!! so when i take these out i want a change but i want it to look natural! and i love wet n wavy hair but i want it to be wavy and i want to be able to straighten it also!...if its possible!!!

Wet and wavy hair is not straight! The more you wet it the more it curls. A roller set looks extremely natural on this type of hair. It can be straightened but it still doesn't look like yaki straight! If your planning on leaving your weave in for months get it washed and tightened at the salon for $20- $45.
If you want the wet n wavy look, find a stylist who is really good at weaving that hair with yours to make it look natural. If it's human hair, you can do with it what you please. If you straighten it, you should be able to get the wavy look back by wetting your hair and using a conditioner to maintain that look. I don't have a weave, but when I want the wet n wavy look, I wet my hair and I use a condition called wet n' wavy to maintain the effect. It works well.

Use human hair, not synthetic for microbraids. You can go to a hair supply store and ask the staff. Usually they are very knowledgeable about the products they sell. Or if you're going to a salon to have it done. They should have hair that you can buy or turn you in the right direction.

Human hair is better and slightly more expensive. It's easier to maintain and doesn't tangle as easily as synthetic. It also looks better. The brand that you should get depends on what is available in your area. Just go to the beauty supply and ask them to see the human hair that they have available. Ask them to see two or three different brands. They should let you open the packages in the store (at the counter) so you can see the quality of hair that you are buying. Don't buy the cheapest, but don't buy the most expensie brand either.

Kerasilk leave in conditioner. Sebastian's wet is also great. After applying either product to wet hair try a diffuser on you blow dryer. This will lock the wave and make the style look good all day with out getting frizzy.

Luckily i already knew what it meant, I would say use it for extensions with some very small braids on the outer parts of your hair, and then pull all of them backand hold them in a half ponytail, not sure if you can do that since I have never used human hair I simply know what it is mainly used for.

I've never actually heard of this happening. Where is she getting this hair from? Large amounts? I'm curious. Also, if the vet said it's the dog food, maybe you just havn't found the right one. I'm guessing this may be the lack of nutrients in her food. I would try a more expensive brand, like Innova. You can purchase it online, or check and see if it's in any of your local petstores. Also, wherever she'd getting the hair from, keep her away from that area. Possibly a bathroom?

Clean up the home and get her on a good quality dog food. You are asking for stomach problems leaving hair around for her to eat. It could end up with her needing a costly surgery if she gets a ball in her stomach she can;t throw up.
I just got it braided this past friday, but they are too big and i want to take them out and reuse the hair for micros.
It might be bent from being in the braids, and I wouldn't reccomend using a straightening iron on it. If you take them out and undo the braids and you don't notice the bends then go for it.

Kerasilk leave in conditioner. Sebastian's wet is also great. After applying either product to wet hair try a diffuser on you blow dryer. This will lock the wave and make the style look good all day with out getting frizzy.

You don't say what the doll is made of and that would be very important when doing any clean up or restoration! If the doll is bisque or composition you will need to remove the wig to wash it. I would use a mild shampoo or woolite. Place the wig on something the same size as the dolls head to dry so that it doesn't shrink.

When I was 8 yrs old, my brother sent me a german doll with human hair back in the 70's when he was stationed in the army there...I have never had to wash her, but only because I sealed her all these yrs in a plastic bag...but I would use only baby shampoo if I had to wash her hair...and be careful not to get it into the holes in her scalp, because it may not dry properly and mildew may form inside her head....you may want to "ask jeeves" too...best of luck!

What can I do keep my hair from tangling up?
I just recently got my hair did last Wednesday and I know my beautician a.k.a my Ma` would be dissappointed if I took them down this quick.
So my question to you is what can I do to keep my hair from tangling up, and I do braid it up at night.
Buy a brush with bristles that are widely spaced apart and run it through your hair occassionally throughout the day. I also found that keeping the loose ends off of my back and up, when styling, kept my micros in better shape for a longer time.
And tie your hair up at nite with a satin scarf, after pulling it into a neat, combed out (with the brush i first suggested) bun. I hope this helped. I used to get micros all the time and am currently natural.

I'm assuming you have the ends out. You may just want to comb the tangles out with a close teeth comb, starting from ends and working your way up. Be patient. Hold hair in hand and comb so not to tug hair at the roots. Also at night you may want to detangle and make one big partially tight braid and tie or pin braid up and cover with scarf so that it will not loosen and become tangled again. also apply some sort of moisturizer to make it easier to comb. don't use anything too wet thought, try something creamy and use sparingly.

The only way to tell is to wash it and see what happens. I've had a few different types and usually the kind with tight curls usually do okay after a washing. Read the intructions on the package and see what they recommend. But usually with synthetic hair you're only buying it for a one time wear, that's why they're a little cheaper than human hair.

Thin hair never looks good with braids, so if you must have braids, then get hair extensions. Otherwise you will only have a few thin braids and won閳ユ獩 look very good.
Girl listen up, I did it- bad idea for those of us with fine, thin hair! I did the Bo Derek thing a few years ago, with out extensions and when I took the braids out a month later (yes, I washed and conditioned it every couple days), I lost like 1/6 of my hair! And it broke off all uneven and all over so when my hair was dry, and down, it looked like I had some kind of shag or something, it took years to get it lookin good again. Just something to think about... And oh yeah, the hairdresser said that if I woulda used extensions the breakage woulda been worse because they add weight to your fine thin hair and it's too heavy for that kind of hair- extensions will break fine hair really bad.
Yes... you should get extensions. That's what they cater to thinning hair or for hair growth. Just make sure the person braiding knows what their doing.
I have naturally curly hair, and I just spent $350 for hair extensions that my beautician stated was my only option; that being straight as a board, and that if I wanted to match the curl I already had I would have to curl them. Needless to say I'm not happy.

You only need bleach to go lighter, not darker. What you are wanting to do is difficult to do on your own as it's easy to mess up. You are going to need to bleach the pieces that you want blue and pink, then put the blue black on the rest (not the parts you just bleached) then put the blue and pink onto the bleached parts. Very tricky as you need to make sure not to get bleach on the part you want black and not to get black on the part you want bleached.
I would dye your own hair black and then buy bluue and pink extensions. Thats what I do. I wear extensions too. I have tons of colors. There so much fun.
I bought these today, thinking they were seperated into numerous wefts (The dumb broad who worked at Sally's told me they were three wefts?) So trusting her, I bought them and they turned out to be ONE GIGANTIC trail of hair attached to one weft...It seriously has to be 3 foot long. I planned on sewing the wefts to clips...but I'm not sure if you can cut these into different parts or just fold them over and sew them. Help?!?!

No, Vinegar won't work. Clarifying shampoos help (like Aveda Hair Detoxifier) but it's tricky when you are still washing your hair in the same water. Can you get city water shipped in? To remove it really well, run perm solution thru your hair. Best to go to a salon, but if you do it at home, saturate your hair, the iron will turn a purple color and will rinse away. It won't be damaging, it works very quickly.
Try a good claifying shampoo and conditioner. I live in the country so I know exactly what your talking about the build up from hard water. I used to go to a place called sallys beauty supply and buy a small pachage of stuff. It was purple called crystal something... grrr cant remember the name. it was only a dollar or so. Some deep conditioners help too if you leave them on all night. Oh one of them is called cholesterol cream. I never heard of vinegar for it.

i've been doing my own hair for years, sewn in and bonded. i want to try a new technique and wondered if anyone new of some or any websites with picture instructions, also what would be the best pattern of braiding for a sewn in curly weave parted in the on the side.
I don't know of any websites, but here's my suggestion: I would say to part your hair wherever you want to have your side part. Then braid backwards, like cornrows going back. Then at the part, braid horizontally like from the part towards your ear. With curly weave, it should cover up your hairline quite well. I've done this and it's worked fine. As you know technique takes practice, so have fun!

it is not made to make hair grow faster or anything like that. in fact, there isn't much you can do to make your hair grow faster, or grow thicker. people that say there are pills or shampoos to make it grow faster are ignorant. it's just like your can't make your skin grow faster, you can only keep it healthy and hydrated with lotions etc.
hair grows 1/2 inch per month on the average human. you can do things to make it healthier like keep it moisturized with certian hydrating products, and this will make it feel healthier and not break off (therefore allowing it to grow longer without damage) but horse shampoo will not do this. it is just an extreme shampoo for extremely dirty hair.

You should never do that again, chemicals used in human hair dye can be very harmful to animals. You may want to call your vet to see what you could possibly do? Is it permanent hair dye or just the spray?
well you are now the proud owner of a patriotic kitty. It will eventully come out on its own by her shedding, but it will take a while. I dyed my black and white kitty pink one time. I couldn't get the color off.
If you used actual hair dye... Think how long it comes out of your hair. Call a stylist and see if they know.
I suggest going to the cat groomer and/or ask them for advice.
She will shed it pretty quickly if it's permanent.
If it's temporary, give her a bath.
I had a friend who did this to her kitty one year too call your vet and they will give you a shampoo that will help to take the color out of your kittys coat . you will also need to wash her hair with a moisturizing shampoo after you use the vets shampoo . hope this helps some

i would love to have extensions added to my hair but its quite short so i was wondering if there was a mininmum length your hair had to be before getting them done.
You just have to have hair to attach the hair to, I got extensions when my hair was only three inches long! And no body knew, My extensions were eighteen inches long!! But if you go that short it would almost be impossible to get them sewn in so you would have to go with the kind that you use an adhesive with, be picky though, some of those adhesives can be brutal, they can be hard to remove, so just make sure you do your research and find someone who knows what they are doing.
I'd say about 4 inches but ring a stylist and ask.

Yeah, I agree with four inches. This is so that the extensions can stay clipped, glued or sewn to your natural hair. This also serves in concealing the fact that you have added hair. It should not be obvious that you have hair extensions, so your natural hair should cover the places where the extensions are attached. They should be attached near the scalp.

Murray's site suggests using dishwashing liquid and making sure to make lots of suds. Also you can melt it with a blow dryer and use a fine toothed comb to pull it out.

human hair is not that expensive to purchase... just go to a black beauty supply store and ask or look for 100% human hair wefts... you can cut them style them... colour them (depending on how much you spend on the hair the results WILL vary.. if you spend 30 dollars on the hair dont try to colour it.. the chemical process that hair has been put through was much more abbraisive than hair that was a little more expensive...
as long as you treat it as your own you can wash it curl it straighten it brush it out gently of coarse and if you took care of it while it was in your hair you can use it again and again..
you can even put clips on pieces to put them in and take them out when ever you want... its that great..

Depends on how long you are planning on keep it. My best friend can keep synthetic for at least four weeks. But then it is DONE. Another friend of mine keeps her human for months at a time. If you want it to look real and keep it a long time and be able to wash it on a regular basis go for human.
just to keep in mind real hair is 100's of dollars more, but then you are able to blow dry, curl, or what ever you want. Synthetic hair is good if it is in braids and low maintenance style because you can't even put a blow drier to it without damaging your investment. plus you also need to keep in mind that there is also all the special products you have to buy to go along with your new hair to keep it in tack and looking good.

you can purchase human hair and keep it for almost ever! all you have to do is wash it, condition it, and style as you wish. synthetic hair mats very easily, it does not keep its shine very long, and mostly looks fake. real is better, and looks believable, and more natural. you can even curl it, synthetic will only melt.
