Can you use butox on human hair to get rid of lice?

I know it is used for animals to kill lice and flies, is it too strong for human hair?

Can you use butox on human hair to get rid of lice?

Don't think I would try it hun... I just looked up "Butox", and it's made up of "Deltamethrin 12.5mg"(http://www.intervet.co.in/produc... ... I then looked up deltamethrin on Wikipedia, and it says "Deltamethrin almost killed a blind couple in 1998. They were not notified of the pesticide's application and had large quantities inside their dryer and furnace." ... it gives no source for this information and no further details, but who would chance using it, knowing that.

Oddly, "RID" headlice treatment contains something called "Piperonyl Butoxide 4%", which is probably pretty close to whats in "Butox", but I still wouldn't chance using the "Butox" even if you can figure out the dosage ratio. Over-the-counter lice medications aren't that expensive... about $10 in the U.S, so I would stick with those just to be safe.

Deltamethrin is probably similar to permethrin which is in RID. It contains both permetrin and piperonyl butoxide. Report It

Do you mean Botox?

I have never heard of this one before. Not even for animals.

Botox is Botulism in a bottle. Used for muscle paralysis.

I wouldn't try it. God knows what would happen.
