How can I sterilize human hair?

How can I sterilize human hair?

I'm not sure why you'd want to, but soak it in ammonia (briefly, the ammonia can make the hair disintegrate if left in too long) and immediately use it for whatever you were going to (I'm hoping the hair is not attached to someone's head). If you're using the hair for a long process, make sure to dry off as much of the ammonia as you can.

In an autoclave. A fancy term for pressure cooker. It needs to be in the autoclave at 120 C for 30 min to ensure proper sterilization.

You can use many of the sterilizing liquids that are available in pharmacies such as "Dettol". However, you have to know that hair should be short as the longer the hair is the harder to be sterilized.

But if you mean "A HAIR" to be sterilized from bacterial contamination, it should be put in a watch glass and rinsed with 70% Ethyl alcohol at least once , then you can say that it is completely sterilized.
