Is human hair an adequate source for thread?

If you had no other alternatives, do you think human hair would be a good substitute for thread in sewing? I think it's too weak by the strand, but maybe multiple hairs could be woven into a stronger yarn-type product.

What do you think?

Depends on the hair. Some people have coarse hair that might work. Weaving the fine thin hair might work in a bind. try it out and let us know. I bet horse tail hair would work.

Yes I think so.

I'm not so sure I'd like it if there were dandruff flakes on my sweater though.
